Dear BPPS P&C Members,
Further to my email 31/03/20 regarding the Association’s ability to hold meetings with the current social restrictions and constitutional provisions; unfortunately we are still waiting for advice from the NSW P&C Federation, who have proposed constitutional changes to the Education Minister.
Until such time as the constitution allows for meetings to be held in a format other than physical, or social restrictions are significantly relaxed, P&Cs are not permitted to hold meetings.
Pending “go-ahead” from the Education Minister and P&C Federation, the AGM will now be held on Wednesday 10th June 2020, 6.30pm, via Zoom video conference (OR in person if possible).
Should the Federation still not have returned an outcome by this date, further postponement will be advised.
This means that existing Office Bearers will retain their positions until the AGM can be held.
Your financial Membership continues until the AGM.
Other activities:
•The Mothers Day Stall and the Mothers Day Craft & Cuppa Morning cannot be held under the current circumstances.
•At this stage, there is no timeline for the return of School Banking.
•The P&C Uniform Shop remains available for online orders via Flexischools or manual orders handed in at the school office. Volunteers will attend to these orders within approximately one week – it is not possible to maintain the “usual” fast turn-around in these circumstances.
If you are not already connected with BPPS P&C on social media, please find us on Facebook and Instagram.
We look forward to being together with you all as a community as soon as it is safe and practicable!
Warm regards,
Amy Kirkup
